Membership Helps the Sport

The Nashville Kangaroos are a diverse group of people from a variety of backgrounds, and a variety of pursuits are part of our mission. To meet the diverse needs of our membership, we have devised a variety of membership categories with something for everyone. The following four steps will help you determine what type of membership category best suits you, and will assist you in ensuring that we have the right information to best serve you.

Membership is for a calendar year. For new members who join in September or later, your membership will be through the following calendar year. Membership entitlements include membership card, periodical e-news, mail outs and notifications, member discounts, a great member web site, organized events and offers throughout the year. See below for membership types offered.

Use the sign-up/renewal form whether you are a new or renewing member.

Step 1 — Club Membership

Everyone becomes a club member of some kind, it is just a matter of which category suits you. From the Club Membership Table below, select the appropriate membership category. For families, each family member may have a different category.

Step 2 — Team Players

While every player must also be a club member, not every club member is a player. If you are not registering as a player for any of our teams, skip this step. For players, see the Team Player Fee Table and select which player category you qualify for. If you are playing for more than one team, you only need to pay your club dues once to be eligible to play for all our teams.

Step 3 — Membership Update

After you determine your membership category (and for players, which player category applies to you) go to the Membership Update page where to provide us with your current contact information. This is critical to ensuring that you are on our e-mail distribution list to receive all club communications.

Step 4 — Membership Dues and Fees

No club would function without funds to keep the operations going. Once you submit your Membership Update, go to the DONATE NOW button where you can submit your Club Dues and Player fees online. We use PayPal, so your payment options include the usual credit cards, bank transfers and PayPal dollars. You will receive an electronic receipt at the conclusion of your transaction.

MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

1. Definitions

Single — standard membership
Spouse — a discount membership for spouses is available once the primary club membership is paid.
KangaKids — a discount membership is available to all children under the age of 18.

General — anyone who does not qualify in another category.
Student — anyone enrolled full-time as a student at any level of education, regardless of age.
International — anyone living outside of the USA.
ANZACC — anyone who desires to participate in the ANZACC Club.

2. Definitions

Kangaroo (veteran) — anyone who does not qualify in another category.
Student — anyone enrolled full-time as a student at any level of education, regardless of age.
Joey (Rookie) — anyone who is playing for the first time with the Nashville Kangaroos in that sport.
ANZACC — anyone who desires to participate in the ANZACC Club.

For Example

Below are some examples of how the total payment for club membership and player fees would be calculated. If you have any questions on how to calculate the amount owed, please contact the Membership Director.

Example — Single Football Player, Student, Joey (Rookie)

Your Club Dues and Player fees as a single football player who is a Student and a Joey would be:

• $15 Club Membership, Student Single
• $70 Football Fees, Student Joey
• $85 Total Amount
• Note: you would receive 1 Member Card, 1 Member t-shirt, 1 training top, 1 set of game shorts and socks, free registration for USFAFL Nationals, and get into all Kangaroos post-game functions for free.

Example — Family Netball Player, Spouse, and Two KangaKids

Your Club Dues and Player fees as a family playing netball where both spouses and one KangaKid play netball (and all have played before) would be:

• $70 Club Memberships — Single ($30), Spouse ($20), two KangaKids ($10 each)
• $160 Netball Fees — Kangaroos (Veterans, $60 each), Student ($40)
• $230 Total Amount
• Note: you would receive 4 Member Cards, 4 Member t-shirts, 3 training tops, and all members get into Kangaroos post-game functions for free.

Example — Club Membership International Family and One KangaKid

Your Club Dues as an International family with one child with would be:

• $50 Club Memberships — Single ($20), Spouse ($20), One KangaKid ($10)
• No Player Fees
• $50 Total Amount
• Note: you would receive 3 Member Cards, 3 Member t-shirts, and all members get into Kangaroos post-game functions for free.
