2009 Membership Drive is Under Way
With the start of a new year we now start our annual membership drive as well. Last year we increased our official membership to right about 100, and this year we are targeting our membership to be 150. So why is it so great to be a member of the Nashville Kangaroos? And what do you get for your membership? We are glad you asked.
First and foremost, becoming a member means you believe in and are supporting the mission of the organization. As a not-for-profit company, the Kangaroos exist to fulfill the mission. It is reprinted here and is included on the following documents: The Nashville Kangaroos home page, the About The Roos page, every issue of Roos eNews, and our official membership cards. In addition are going to print it ont he back of our business cards, the footy guide (being relaunched this year), and on our Facebook page.
Nashville Kangaroos Mission:
The Club is dedicated to fostering the national and international amateur sports competition of Australian Football. This mission is achieved by:
- Playing and promoting Australian Football
- Playing and promoting Netball
- Providing an Australian, New Zealand, and American business network
- Hosting cultural events throughout the year

- Spouse $20

Student Membership
- Single $15

ANZACC Membership
- Single $100
- Spouse $20

Definitions
Single - standard membership
Spouse - a discount membership for spouses is available once the primary
club membership is paid
KangaKids - a discount membership is available to all children under the
age of 18
General - anyone who does not qualify in another category
Student - anyone enrolled full-time as a student at any level of
education, regardless of age
International - anyone living outside of the USA
ANZACC - anyone who desires to participate in the ANZACC Club
