Netball News
Wow, it is hard to believe that we are approaching the end of our Winter 2009 Netball season! We have two great teams competing every week, having a lot of fun, staying fit, and we have a nice dose of competitiveness to keep things spiced up!
We are pleased to have our returning veterans, Debbie Warner, Alan Denton, Taijana Logsdon, Jeff Persson and myself to give us some stability. And as you would expect, our excitement over the plethora of newcomers this year knows no bounds, with several countries being represented including England, Australia, New Zealand, and of course the US. Check out this list and you will see that Netball is alive and well in Tennesse!
We are planning our Summer 2009 Season now and have posted a preliminary seven-game schedule on the website starting May 31. In the meantime we are contemplating which tournaments we can get our team to so be sure to check back for those dates.
I am so excited to be in the position of planning more netball (after rebuilding in 2008)! Special thanks to our facility host and sponsor Velocity Sports Performance in Murfreesboro. Their indoor facility has allowed us to keep playing through the cold and rainy weather.
